GENERAL INFO
Entering the Tropikali terrain is at own risk and means you are accepting our house rules.
Payment
At Tropikali you can pay by cash and by card.
Facilities
Lockers: there is a limited amount of lockers available for 5 euro each.
Toilets: the toilets are hosted by the amazing PLEES TO BE! They will keep the toilets clean and tidy all day and will give you amazing tropical entertainment. A ‘plaspartout’ for all day will be €2,50.
Food: there will be different kind of nice snacks and food bars.
Don’t bring any food or drinks
It is not allowed to bring any food or drinks to the festival terrain. Bags will be checked.
Behaviour
Tropikali Festival is a party for everyone. We would like you to have a great day and have as much fun as possible. Please take care of yourself and others and be respectful to each other and do not damage the plants or the festival props.
Not allowed
Drugs, dangerous objects such as knifes, glass or other sharp objects are not allowed to bring to the festival terrain. We also don’t allow any flyers or promotional material at the festival.
Minimum age
Minimum age allowed: 18 years old. Don’t forget to bring your ID.
Drugs
Drugs are forbidden by law, so also at Tropikali Festival. If we find less than 5 gr. softdrugs, you must give it to the security. If you don’t want to give it to the security, or you have more than 5 gr. with you, we will call the police.
If they find any hard drugs in your posses, or if you are dealing soft/hard drugs (big amount), they will have to arrest you and transfer you to the police. There will be a dropbox at the entrance, this will be coordinated by security.
Security and first aid
There will be a security team at the terrain, recognizable by their clothes and there will be a first aid desk.
Liability
The organisation of Tropikali can not be held liable for any injury, material or immaterial damage to visitors or properties of the visitors. The organization can also not be held liable for loss or theft of property.
Other
In any case where we notice the house rules are not being taken in account, the organisation will decide what to do. The organisation has the right to refuse people the entry to the terrain or the remove visitors from the terrain.

We do recommend you to come by bike
We have only a limited of parking spots, so we do advise you to come by bike or to use public transport.
You can also use the P+R location at Station Sloterdijk. There you can easily take bus 48 towards Borneo eiland en there you change after 15 minutes at Westerdiksdijk to the ferry to NDSM-werf. Click here for more information about P+R.
Are you coming by bike from the center?
The Amsterdam public transport recommends you to come by the Buikslotermeerpont ferry behind Central station. From there it’s only a 10 min bike ride at the north side of the IJ river to the Noorderlichtcafé.
The last ferry from the NDSM-werf to Westerdoksdijk is ging at 23.40. The Buikslotermeerpont to Central Station is going all night. Bring your bike if you want to make it late! More info at www.gvb.nl
